David Torres

David Torres became a Christian at 10 years old. He was in the military for 4 years becoming a sergeant during the Vietnam War. While stationed in Iceland, he was left to die in a blizzard and had an encounter with an angel that saved him. He also worked in law enforcement for 40 years in the LAPD (26 yrs), and as a DA Investigator (16 yrs). He was nominated as investigator of the year twice with one win and was President of the Christian Police Association, ministering and presenting the gospel in Europe.

Pastor David has been in ministry all his life. He has served in the church as a Christian education director, deacon, elder, children’s minister, prayer pastor, church planter, and associate pastor, as well as had training at the Christian Training Institute, Rio Hondo College, and California State University. He’s hosted prayer breakfasts all across San Gabriel Valley and witnessed the many miracles happen from the power of prayer.

Pastor David and His wife, Felipa, of 50 years, have worked together in ministry for over 40 years. They have a son and daughter and 2 grandchildren.
